Description
There is something mythical that reveals itself when we gaze at Nachawi’s painting “it’s a sad world”,  we are mesmerized by the two universal  women holding the planet earth, watering it and  attempting to maintain its fragile statues.
Unlike the usual mythical representation of our planet, “the world” is not on the back of a tired man trying not to move or all will be destroyed, we see a sympathetic relation between two entities, both standing in harmony in vast unknown space.
There is a certain kind of love between the entities we see, one can’t really capture it unless  one gave him/her self totally to a bigger, caring and sympathetic being, that could be called, Mother.
