No city can sum what the middle east is witnessing more that Beirut, for decades the city reflected everything wrong with region at the same time, represented hope to change “everything”.
In “Beirut” , Dima Nachawi is trying to give homage to a city/a woman  that holds the following promise : through revolution  we can have a future of freedom ,hope and peace.
One can also compare “Beirut” to a talesman, where detailed ornament; of a revolutionary slogan and the geography of the city are all morphed into one cycle that represents shows us a path, a way for a better life, a constellation of “powers”, if united, could change the statues que
